MAS Implementation & Configuration
Stand up Maximo Application Suite for a first-time or expanding customer with a configuration-first build that minimizes customization, integrates with your enterprise stack, and lands fast on a repeatable, upgrade-ready baseline.
Outcomes
- A scalable MAS Manage configured to your processes, with a configuration-first bias that keeps you Continuous-Delivery-ready
- Integrations to your ERP, GIS, IoT, and procurement, built API-first and tested
- An accelerator-led baseline that lands the common processes on day one, with trained users and a documented configuration
How it works
You are standing up Maximo Application Suite for the first time, or extending it to a new operation. The trap is the same either way: over-customize raw Maximo, and every monthly MAS feature channel becomes a regression risk you own forever. We build configuration-first, so the platform stays upgrade-ready under Continuous Delivery.
The approach is plain. Most of the value lives in a small slice of the work: workflows, role-based security, start centers, KPIs, and the handful of integrations that actually move data. We land that slice on an accelerator-led baseline first, then tailor only where your operation genuinely diverges from the common pattern. Customization is a decision we make on purpose, not a default.
The build runs through our D2D Line — FRAME the processes and the "done" definition, DESIGN the configuration and integration plan, PLAN it into testable increments, BUILD it test-first, VERIFY it against your data, and SHIP it with trained users and documentation.
What you own at the end
A live, documented MAS Manage tuned to how you actually work, an API-first integration layer with its tests, and a configuration written down so the next admin (or the next feature channel) does not break it. Source, configuration, and tests are yours.
The three leaf offerings below are the pieces: a new MAS implementation, ongoing configuration and customization, and integrations to SAP, Oracle, GIS, and IoT.
FAQ
Do we have to customize? As little as possible. A configuration-first build keeps you on the upgrade path; heavy customization takes you off it. Where a process is genuinely yours, we customize deliberately and document it. Where it is a common pattern, we configure the baseline.
What about Continuous Delivery? MAS ships updates as monthly feature channels rather than big-bang annual upgrades, so "stay current" is now an operating habit, not a project. A configuration-first build is what makes that habit cheap. If you want us to run the uptake for you, that is the Managed Maximo line.
How is it priced? Fixed-scope, fixed-fee against an agreed configuration baseline. The accelerator shortens time-to-value versus a from-scratch build, and the bounded scope is set in the FRAME phase before any build starts.
Proof
- Configuration-first methodology keeps the platform upgrade-ready under MAS Continuous Delivery: minimal, maintainable customization
- Enterprise integrations (ERP, GIS, IoT) re-platformed and tested as part of the build
