Managed Maximo (AMS & MaaS)
Run-and-maintain for your Maximo with tiered application managed services, a clear who-owns-what split and real SLAs, optional Maximo-as-a-Service hosting, periodic health checks, and a 7.6 Extended-Support bridge if you are not ready to migrate yet.
Outcomes
- A supported, healthy, staying-current MAS without the in-house burden, with monthly feature-channel uptake handled
- Transparent tiers: you know exactly who owns what and what the response-time SLAs are, with no amorphous "managed services"
- An optional fully managed Maximo-as-a-Service hosting option with a defined uptime SLA
- A bridge option if you cannot migrate yet: keep your past-end-of-support 7.6 secure, monitored, and patched while you plan the move
How it works
A migration or an implementation gets you live. Staying live, current, and healthy is a different job, and MAS made it harder: with Continuous Delivery you now have to take monthly feature channels rather than upgrade every few years. "Stay current" is a recurring operating habit the model creates, and most teams are not staffed for it.
We run that habit for you, and we do it with the tiers on the table, not behind a quote. Every tier names what we own, what you own, and the response-time SLAs you can hold us to. You see a real menu, not the word "managed."
This marquee has four ways in, each its own offering below:
- Application Managed Services (AMS) — tiered run-and-maintain, including the Continuous Delivery "stay-current" uptake, with a published responsibility split.
- Maximo-as-a-Service Hosting — run-my-MAS-for-me, the platform and the application operated for you with an uptime SLA.
- Health Checks & Support — a low-commitment entry: a periodic check-up and on-demand expert help.
- 7.6 Extended-Support Bridge — for the not-ready-yet segment, a way to keep a past-end-of-support 7.6 stable while you plan the migration.
What you own at the end
Your MAS estate, always. We operate it under terms you can read, and the relationship is transferable: a managed service is something you can take back in-house or move, because we hand over the runbooks and the configuration, not just a login. Ownership does not change because we are running it for you.
FAQ
Is "managed services" just staff augmentation? No. Each tier is a defined scope with defined hours, defined SLAs, and a published OPST-versus-you ownership boundary. You are buying a bounded service, not an open-ended body-shop.
Can you host it for us? Yes — Maximo-as-a-Service hosting runs your MAS on OpenShift (cloud, on-prem, or hybrid) with updates, patching, backups, DR, and an uptime SLA. That is the hosting service. If what you actually want is to build and operate your own multi-tenant platform, that is platform engineering, and it lives in our Platform vertical, not here.
How is it priced? Per tier, on a monthly retainer. The tier names what is included and the SLA you get; you pick the tier that matches how much you want to own.
Proof
- Tiered AMS with explicit response-time SLAs and a clear who-owns-what responsibility split, and defensible uptime numbers, not marketing puffery
- Health checks that surface data-integrity and license-posture drift before it bites
